Mac Forbes - Wine Label Designs

For Mac Forbes, a renowned winemaker in the Yarra Valley, we created distinct label designs for three wine ranges—RS, Core, and EB—each reflecting a unique aspect of his winemaking philosophy.

The RS Range focuses on precision and craftsmanship, highlighting residual sugar. A large gold foil block dominates the minimal label, symbolising Riesling as the "Queen of grapes." The Core Range embodies purity and a sense of place, with simple labels that emphasise regional names using a hand-textured typeface. The EB Range celebrates experimentation, with bold, dynamic elements that mirror the playful and innovative nature of the wines in this collection.
